Yes. Because, way back years, St. Benilde was known to have deliberately learned ‘sign language’ to teach a Deaf-Mute boy Catechism and to prepare him to receive Holy Communion. Early then, St. Benilde had the heart to help children learn.
Now, the college itself offers a degree of ‘Bachelor in Applied Deaf Studies (BAPDST), Multimedia Arts track, Business Entrepreneurship track’ for the deaf people who don’t consider being physically disabled as a hindrance to reach their dreams and goals in life.

The college (DLS-CSB) also offers aspiring deaf students to show and build up their talents. Well, i could probably agree to their motto that ‘Let your talents lead you where you can shine!’ which is true. Follow your heart. Take yourself where your happiness is. The college will be there to guide you!
That’s the spirit that we obtained/inherited from Saint Benilde Romançon which is still present up to now to help and guide deaf-mute people.
